We are calling to the norwegian, US, UK & EU member states to block assets of Putin oligarchs NOW and ban NOW entry to the West for their family members.
Ukraine and the West should never have allowed themselves to be subject to the current Russian threat. The Western financial sanctions should have been much tougher. Severe technology sanctions should have been imposed, not only on defense and oil.
This brutal war on the part of Russia has now been going on for the next 8 years and almost 14,000 people have been killed. The WHO reports that the humanitarian crisis in eastern Ukraine has affected 4.4 million people and led to 1.6 million fleeing. Of those affected, 3.4 million are currently in need of humanitarian assistance. According to the OHCHR, by 2021, almost half a million elderly people would have lived without any source of income.
